March 18 in St. Petersburg signed a decree banning meetings of more than 50 employees until April 30.
The Chairman of city Committee on culture Konstantin Sukhenko wrote on his page on the social network Vkontakte: "we Announce the suspension of the admission of visitors in the city's cultural institutions. The ban on visits valid from 19 March until 30 April 2020. We are talking about theatres, museums, exhibition halls, concert organisations, municipal cinemas, the Leningrad zoo. Suspended work on carrying out leisure activities with number of participants more than 50 people at a time."
