Tomas Valentini from Skanners spoke about the origins and sound of the band, as well as the upcoming tour

What brought you to the world of music?

-I believe that the passion for music it’s in your soul, especially heavy metal ;-)

surely they were influenced by the icons of heavy metal, for the rest it's simply a passion for music.

Skanners were born from the friendship of the two veterans, Claudio Pisoni (frontman) and Fabio Tenca (lead guitar) since 1982.

What hobbies besides music do you have?

- Cinema and Sports especially football

Are you for consistency in creativity or do you think that the style of a musician should change over time?

- The style of the band is characterized by the personality of the members, but the skanners sound it's always the same, and each album has different nuances characterized by time and by each individual component.

Tell us what was the most memorable in Russian tour?

- Certainly last year on the tour with DORO PESCH in Moscow and St. Petersburg, great audience, excellent feedback with Russian fans

How has the world situation in connection with Covid-19 changed your life?

- We are closed in our homes without any contact, it will probably help us to think and try to improve our future.

COVID 19 is a global pandemic, it will certainly do a lot of damage in the entertainment sector too, but we never give up and we hope to see you in Russia in September 2020, great news soon!
