This summer, the legendary British electronic Duo The Chemical Brothers will perform in St. Petersburg with the ninth album, No Geography and unforgettable visual show! The concert will take place June 6, in SK "Anniversary".
Over 20 years of existence, The Chemical Brothers changed the perception of what a live electronic band. Starting with performances in small London clubs, and soon moved up to the top of billboards biggest festivals, "the brothers" remained faithful to one idea: live show should create its own audiovisual space in which I want to stay until the very end of the concert. For several years, show The Chemical Brothers, produced by visual artists Adam Smith and Marcus Lalla introduce the audience into a trance and euphoria around the world.
The influence The Chemical Brothers electronic music can hardly be overestimated. On their account six plates, which occupied the 1 place in the UK charts, 12 million albums and 6 million singles sold worldwide, and first among electronics engineers award "Grammy" in the category "Best rock instrumental" for the track Block Rockin' Beats (during his career, The Chemical Brothers received 4 "Grammy" awards). In 2015, The Chemical Brothers released the album Born In The Echoes, which collaborate with rapper Q-Tip, singer St. Vincent and Beck, as well as an Oscar winner Michel Gondry (Director "Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind," "Science of sleep", "Rewind", "the Green hornet"). The album earned critical acclaim: the publication Pitchfork praised the "brothers" for best pop tracks in my entire career, and the magazine NME said that The Chemical Brothers "brilliantly perepetual your own sound".
