ERIC CLAPTON June 29 and 30 in Moscow

Great Blues-rock musician returned from a European tour and next summer will give two long-awaited concert in Moscow!

Eric Clapton is a living legend and one of the most influential rock musicians in history. Having gained fame as a member of the groups The Yardbirds and Cream in the 1960s, he became the only musician inducted into the Hall of fame rock-n-roll three times – as a solo performer and as a member of Cream and The Yardbirds. In 2011, Rolling Stone magazine put Eric Clapton in second place in the list of the greatest guitarists of all time – right after Jimi Hendrix. Musical partners Clapton at different times was George Harrison and B. B. king, Jeff Beck and Roger waters, Keith Richards and Phil Collins.

On the Studio recordings of Clapton you can learn the history of rock. For more than half a century career he has received as many as 23 of the award “Grammy” for their records. In 1993 he won the most prestigious nominations “album of the year” (MTV Unplugged) “song of the year” (Tears in Heaven) and “record of the year” (Tears in Heaven). And in 2006 he, together with members of the group Cream received a Grammy in the category “for the musical achievements of a lifetime.”

“I always find in music a simple calm that penetrates directly into the nervous system – and I feel ten heads taller than I really is,” says Clapton. “Give me a guitar and I'll play you the Blues” – another quote from him. Growing up on such Blues legends as Robert Johnson, B. B. king, muddy waters, Clapton thanks to his hard work and talent has taken its place in this series great. On 29 and 30 June we will be able to hear the best songs of his entire career in Crocus City Hall!

It will appear on the band composed of great musicians, many of whom Clapton has been working for many years: Nathan East (bass guitar), Paul Carrack (keyboards), Chris Stainton (keyboards), Doyle Bramhall II (guitar), Sharon white and Katie Kissoon (backing vocals).
