Editors go to Russia with a greatest hits album, Black Gold!

Editors, a British band formed in Birmingham in 2002.
About the musical style of the group can talk for a long time, attributing to him all sorts of directions and comparing with what you want the groups, but Editors titled their music the tag "dark disco".
The band released 6 Studio albums and sold more than 2.5 million records in the world.

In 2019, the group of Editors has announced the release of the album Black Gold, which will be a collection of the best hits and will be released on October 25. The album (whose cover was designed by a renowned graphic designer Tom Hingston / Massive Attack, Chemical Brothers, The Rolling Stones) will include 13 tracks of the best in the history of the group and three new songs: "Upside Down", "Frankenstein", "Black Gold".

Undoubtedly, the key to longevity and success of the group is a huge army of fans worldwide, thanks to which they are in demand and regularly touring, whether it's touring the UK, Europe or being a headliners at international festivals.

"I'm still proud to keep doing it," says Smith. "Today, the longevity may not seem too steep, but I think that actually it is. We have confirmation that the songs are always emotionally connected with people and find deeper meaning over time. It may seem pretentious and contrived, but there are people for whom our group means a lot. That's what I always wanted. Black Gold is a chance to reflect on the past 15 years, a glimpse into the very distant future one of the most long lasting and perhaps unexpected musical success stories of this century in the UK."

Group members: Tom Smith (Tom Smith - vocals, guitar, keyboards), Russell Litch (Russell Leetch - bass guitar, backing vocals), Edward lei (Edward Lay - drums), Justin Loki (Justin Lockey, ex YOURCODENAMEIS:MILO - guitar) and Elliot Williams (Elliott Williams, ex Airship - guitar, synthesizer).
