Bi-2 assembled a supergroup

"Jackets Cobain's" secret side project "b-2", to record songs which were invited many famous musicians.

The idea to make such an unusual, even a bit of a strange project was born after it was completed the album "event Horizon", and there was some free time. In General, we have long wanted to do something similar to b-2 – something more electronic. Hence the idea to gather a supergroup, the songs for which to write. The name for the project came up with my friend, Racho Angelov.

Genre framework of the project no. This is due to the fact that all invited participants aka guest stars are representatives of absolutely different musical directions, and each of them brings in a "Jacket of Cobain" your own touch, their own unique style.

In addition to the b-2 in the project during the year was attended by many famous artists, names that the creators of "Jackets." so far kept secret.

This song appeared a year and a half ago, when I was in America drove a new album of Bi-2 with the orchestra. I then sent Diana Arbenina a couple of references and asked to write a song. We lived in the same hotel, and when I met their bass player Vitaly Dubinin, in conversation, we remembered that he's got a Rickenbacher – it's an iconic instrument, which was played by musicians of The Cure , or perhaps Joy Division. And then came the idea to invite him to play the song "Hunting for grasshoppers".

Very soon "Jackets Cobain" will present several new songs, and the album of the supergroup is scheduled for the beginning of February 2019.
