"Prayer for the dead" Grigory Gorin on the stage of the Congress centre

In Moscow starts the tour of the Moscow Regional theater of drama and Comedy in Moscow: 24 Oct orchestra under the baton of people's artist of Russia Elena Tsyplakova for the first time will present the guests of the Congress center. Plekhanov their interpretation of the legendary play Grigory Gorin on the motives of Sholom Aleichem "Memorial prayer".

"Memorial prayer" staged by Director Mikhail Rybak (Germany) is a play about people turning to God in different languages, but exactly the same loving , suffering and laughing and crying. The action takes place in the beginning of the last century into a poor Ukrainian village of Anatevka, in the period of mass Jewish pogroms.

The poor milkman Tevye quotes Scripture and tries to arrange the fate of their five daughters. Services traditional matchmakers don't work, and daughter independently take the decision about their future. The eldest, rejecting the "best" party with the rich butcher, out of a poor tailor; the average for Kyiv student revolutionary; and the youngest, betraying the faith of his father, for the Orthodox.

The climax of the play – the Royal decree by which all Jews must leave the province. The family of Tevye, along with other anatolskyi Jews gather their belongings to begin their lives anew in a new place...
