Museum of art of Saint Petersburg of the XX-XXI century announces a set of children in a children's arts camp!
Museum of art of Saint Petersburg of the XX-XXI centuries (iicp) is pleased to announce the recruitment of children in the annual spring children's arts camp "ART SPRING".
For the second year we invite pupils of primary, middle and senior age to spend two spring days in the framework of an exciting creative research. Thanks to the course the participants will be able to distract from the school program, the spirit of art and creativity. They are waiting for a fascinating tour of the city centre, introducing the mysterious history of the Museum building, which in the past was the police station with a jail and a prison and, of course, dive into the exposition.
Collection iicp includes a unique collection of paintings, graphics and sculptures by St. Petersburg artists of the XX century, without contact with which is essential in the understanding of how modern art of Saint-Petersburg and its classical heritage. Under the leadership of experienced Museum educators, children will visit a number of author sessions and master classes aimed at the identification and development of creative abilities of children, and meet iconic painting, and most importantly — to protect the results change your own art project!
The camp program is designed for 2 days (31 Mar - 1 APR (7 hours) and 2 unit (7-10 people). Age limit - from 7 to 17 years. They are waiting for:
- Unusual guided tours of the Museum and the adjacent historic district
- Unique art classes and art workshops with professional teachers and art critics
- Introduction to the collection iicp, dip in Museum activities
- The creation of collective art works

Schedule:
I day (March 31)
11:00 – communal gathering in the courtyard of the iicp and the formation of units;
11:15-12:00 – game acquaintance in the courtyard of the Museum;
12:00-13:00 – meeting with the Museum of art in St. Petersburg of the XX-XXI centuries (sightseeing tour);
13:00-14:00 – lunch;
14:00-15:30 – class units:
1 unit — master class: "Music hour" (hosted by Nikolay Koryagin),
2 squad — master-class: "Look: the color revolution" (Moderator Alena Kurbasova);
15:30-16:30 – intellectually-sports game in the courtyard of the Museum;
16:30-17:00 — afternoon snack
17:00-18:00 – collective development of ideas final project (performance, installation, art object, Museum project), preparation for presentation;
18:00 – end of the first day of the shift.
II day (April 1)
11:00-11:30 – art charging (the blue room);
11:30-13:00 – workshops for groups:
1 unit – master class "the Art of collage" (the Leading Yuliya Kuznetsova),
2 squad — master class "You think optical art" (moderator Alena Kurbasova);
13:00 -14:00 – lunch;
14:00-15:00 – the "Blue room": a familiarity with contemporary video art, watching movies and creating collective creative video (hosted by Nikolay Koryagin);
15:00-16:00 – education quest "Experts of St. Petersburg" (Moderator Alena Kurbasova);
16:00-16:30 – afternoon snack
16:30-18:00 – preparing for the presentation of the final draft of the change (units);
18:00-18:30 – a concert/presentation of graduates of the camp in front of the Museum staff, parents, and guests iicp;
18:30-18:45 – closing ceremony shift spring children's art camp "Art Spring".
The price for one child — 3 500 rubles (the price includes lunch and afternoon tea).
