Marduk is a Swedish black metal band formed in 1990. The band's name is inspired by the name of the Supreme deity of the Pantheon of Babylonia, Marduk. Black metal, according to band members, is not an image but a style of life, their essence. The group consider themselves the elite black metal scene.
