The Exploited
Scottish punk band formed in 1979. Under the leadership of Watty Bukena they released their first album in 1981. The Exploited released one of the most memorable albums of the mid-1990s - "Punk's not dead".
The Exploited were controversial due to their aggressive lyricism and noisy performances. The group is known for its lyrics about anarchy, politics and anti-authority. Other topics - police riots, war, unemployment, and hopelessness. Many of the songs are mid 80-ies devoted to the threat of nuclear war.
Despite the fact that The Exploited don't release a full album since 2002, they're still touring, while Watty almost died of a heart attack in 2014.
The current composition of the group:
Wattie Buchan — vocals
Robbie Davidson — guitar
Irish Rob — bass guitar
Wullie Buchan — drums
The Exploited is a punk rock!
