Rastrelli Cello Quartet March 20 in Moscow

20 March 2020 at the Chamber hall of Moscow international House of music (MMDM), will perform a cello Quartet, the Rastrelli CELLO QUARTET c program "From Tchaikovsky to the Beatles".

March 20 at the House of music will be one of the most exciting chamber ensembles of our time - the Rastrelli Cello Quartet, they proved that the cello can play everything!
The Rastrelli Cello Quartet under the leadership of Kirill Kravtsov is the flagship ensembles cello, which are equal to many of the world's musicians.

The repertoire covers almost all genres of music – classical, jazz, folk music and the best samples of rock (The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Queen) are equally subject to good musicians.

Extraordinary virtuosity, signature sound, the subtle humor of treatments, have become the hallmark of the ensemble.
This is one of the most famous and in-demand Russian orchestras in the world. The geography of performances of the team covers more than 40 countries, from Alaska to Australia. The Quartet has performed at almost all important festivals in Europe, Asia, North and South America, giving more than 1200 concerts, of which about 550 in the USA.

The program "From Tchaikovsky to the Beatles" will consist of two parts. Performed by the Quartet can be heard world famous composition of Peter Tchaikovsky, Johannes Brahms, Astor Piazzolla, the second part would be devoted to the work of The Beatles.

Host of the concert will be the well-known Russian music critic Artyom Vargaftik.
